Premium Woven Filter Cloth for Every Industrial Filtration Process
Skytech Ultrafab Woven Filter Cloth is manufactured on precision looms using polypropylene, polyester, nylon, cotton, PTFE, and stainless steel yarns in plain, twill, and satin weave architectures. Supplied by the metre or fabricated to finished filter shapes, our cloth delivers precisely controlled air permeability, tensile strength, and particle retention for filter presses, centrifuges, belt presses, and vacuum drum filters across all industries.
What Is Woven Filter Cloth?
Woven Filter Cloth is a fabric produced by interlacing warp and weft yarns on a loom in a repeating geometric pattern. The choice of yarn material, yarn count, weave pattern, and finishing treatments determines the filtration characteristics — micron retention, flow rate, cake release, and chemical compatibility — of the finished cloth.
Woven Filter Cloth
Features and Benefits
-
Precision-Controlled Porosity:
Warp and weft yarn counts selected to achieve the exact micron retention specified by the filtration process requirement
-
Wide Material Range:
PP, PES, nylon, cotton, PTFE, and stainless steel — covering pH 0–14 and temperatures from cryogenic to 260°C
-
Multiple Weave Patterns:
Plain weave for maximum retention, twill for balance of flow and retention, satin for maximum flow and superior cake release
-
Surface Treatments:
Heat-setting, singeing, and calendering applied to tune the cloth surface for the target application
-
Supplied as Fabric or Fabricated Shapes:
Available by the metre roll or cut and fabricated into filter press cloths, centrifuge bags, belt press belts, and drum filter sleeves
-
Dimensional Accuracy:
Fabric width held to ±2 mm tolerance; shrinkage minimised by heat-setting to ensure finished filter shapes fit precisely
