What Are Anode Filter Bags?
Anode Filter Bags are porous woven fabric enclosures placed around the anode in electroplating tanks. As current passes through the electrolyte, the anode slowly dissolves and releases metallic sludge. The filter bag traps this sludge and prevents it from migrating to the work-piece, eliminating surface defects on plated parts and extending bath life.
