Fluid Bed Dryer Bags are the filter bags installed in the expansion chamber of a fluid bed dryer or granulator. As hot air fluidises the product bed, fine dust particles are carried upward into the expansion chamber where the FBD bags intercept and retain them. The bags are periodically shaken or pulse-cleaned to return the captured dust back to the product bed. In pharmaceutical applications, zero product loss and contamination prevention are the primary performance requirements.
