Skytech Ultrafab Gas Turbine Air Intake Filter Cartridges are high-efficiency barrier filters engineered to remove airborne particulates, salt aerosols, and moisture from the intake air of gas turbines used in power plants, offshore platforms, and combined-cycle facilities. Manufactured from ePTFE membrane-laminated or high-loft glass fibre media on rigid structural supports, they achieve E10 to E12 absolute efficiency while maintaining extremely low pressure drop to maximise turbine output. Cartridge dimensions and bolt patterns conform to GE, Siemens, Solar, Rolls-Royce, and other major OEM housing specifications.

What Are Gas Turbine Air Intake Filter Cartridges?

Gas turbine air intake filter cartridges are the primary and final-stage barrier filtration elements installed in the inlet house of a gas turbine. The air intake system must deliver clean, dry air to the turbine compressor — any particulate, salt, or moisture contamination of compressor blades causes fouling, corrosion, and erosion that reduces turbine output, increases heat rate, and shortens compressor blade life. The cartridge filters are the last line of defence before air enters the compressor, so their efficiency, structural integrity, and low pressure drop are critical to turbine performance and availability.
