With a continuous diamond winding pattern that creates progressively finer porosity from outside to centre, they provide high dirt-holding capacity at an economical cost.
What Are Wound Filter Cartridges?
Wound cartridges are produced by wrapping yarn in a diamond (rhombic) pattern around a central core — typically polypropylene or stainless steel. The winding tension, yarn count, and inter-layer spacing create a graded depth structure where the aperture between yarn strands decreases progressively from the outer to the inner surface.
