What Are Pleated Cartridge Filters?
Pleated cartridge filters are cylindrical or conical filter elements in which the filter media is folded into a series of parallel pleats and bonded to end caps to form a rigid, self-supporting element. The pleating dramatically increases the available filtration area compared to a flat or felt tube of the same outer diameter — typically by a factor of 5 to 10 — enabling higher airflow, lower pressure drop, and longer service intervals in the same dust collector housing footprint.
